- Complete Drivers education, which is divided in two parts:
a. 30 hours of classroom session either through your school or a private driver’s education company
b. 6 hours of behind the wheel practice with a professional instructor
- Pass the written exam at the Secretary of State and obtain a learner’s permit and hold it for at least nine months before you can take your Driver’s License road test.
- Additional to the 6 hours of behind the wheel teens have to complete a 50 hour log sheet.
- Bring all of the necessary documents to a Secretary of State facility.
